How to Speak Your Truth ๐ŸŒฟ

Living in truth and trust

You have found your life goals. You have made a brilliant plan. Now, it is time to trust yourself and speak your truth.

Your whole life you have navigated systems and societal expectations that quietly asks you to make yourself smaller. We adapt to outdated, one-size-fits-all models of leadership and the "how to live a life" grounded in patriarchy. It is starting to feel uncomfortable. You want to live and lead fully, but something has got to change.

We exist to close the gender leadership gap, but true change begins within. You are entirely done with shrinking. You are done with relentless self-doubt. You are done with working tirelessly within systems that do not value your true worth. This blog post will guide you through the outer and inner work required to reclaim your authenticity and step into your power.

The Burden of Shrinking

Women make up half the workforce, yet we still find ourselves navigating spaces designed for outdated, male-centred models. In response, we often silence our instincts. We push down our anger to keep the peace. We deny joyful expressions of ourselves because we fear taking up too much room.

This constant adaptation takes a massive toll. When we do finally say "no more," it often comes from such a place of force that others are taken aback. But setting boundaries is not a difficult behaviour; it is a necessary awakening. It is the beautiful moment when your thoughts, your feelings, and your actions totally align.

The Outer Work

Living Your Truth Every Day

It is time to know your truth and actually live it. This begins with the outer work. These are the visible choices you make every single day that signal to the world, and to yourself, who you truly are.

Ask yourself these vital questions:

  • What will you confidently say yes to?
  • What will you no longer accept or tolerate in your space?
  • What anger have you been pushing down just to keep the peace?
  • What brilliant expressions of yourself have you been hiding?

Now is the time to be exactly who you are. This transformation does not require you to burn your life to the ground overnight. It often begins with small, intentional shifts.

Small Shifts with Massive Impact

Consider a real-life scenario. Perhaps you always agree to take the meeting notes, even though it is not your job. Your outer work begins by simply saying, "I took the notes last time; let us rotate this responsibility today."

Notice a change in the way you dress to reflect your true personality, rather than what you think a leader "should" look like. Choose carefully the groups you hang out in and the content you consume. Enforce the boundaries that protect your energy and time. Before long, you will begin to deeply trust yourself again. You will back yourself, and you will completely own your space.

The Inner Work:

The Blueprint for Authenticity

To support this outer transformation, we must do the inner work. Our mission is to amplify the feminine in a space that supports women to reconnect with the true leader within. To do this, we need a practical method to process our thoughts.

Grab an A4 piece of paper and fold it carefully into three equal sections. We are going to map out your forward movement.

Section 1: Set Your Boundaries

In the first section, start with the below line:
This will no longer do:

Add whatever comes to mind. Do not filter yourself. Keep writing until there is absolutely nothing left to add. Aim to fill the entire page if you can. It might be, "Feeling lacklustre every day," or "Answering emails at 9 PM."

Once you have finished, read through your words. Underline those statements that feel most pressing right now, and then underline your top three priorities. These are your immediate, non-negotiable boundaries.

Section 2: Uncover Your Unmet Needs

In the middle of the page, write:
These are my unmet needs:

Look at the things you are no longer willing to tolerate, and identify what is missing from your life. What do you actually need to feel deeply fulfilled? Write down the specific needs that are currently going unanswered.

For instance, if your boundary was about late-night emails, your unmet need might be, "Uninterrupted rest and dedicated time to recharge my creative energy."

Section 3: Design Your Forward Movement

In the final section, add your thoughts, ideas, and choices to bring this realisation to life. Formulate clear, actionable steps. Write down your "I AM" and "I WILL" statements to anchor your commitment.

If your unmet need is creative energy, your actionable step might be: "I will date my creative self every week for at least one hour." Write boldly: "I AM a creative leader. I WILL protect my time." This powerful exercise closes the gap between where you are and where you deserve to be.

Stepping into Your Formidable Inner Power

You have one life, and you absolutely have to be true to yourself. You are worth it. You possess tremendous value and skills beyond measure.

When you firmly own your truth about what you want, why you want it, and exactly why you deserve it, you awaken a formidable inner power. You create a deep, unwavering certainty that radiates outward. This energy helps others to finally see the truth too. When you stand firmly in that space, they will trust you. They will back you.

This empowers you to lead your life with heart and intelligence. Stepping into this alignment might just be the most radical thing you ever do.

Embrace Your New Chapter

Listen up. Women who are powerful, driven by trust and truth, and unapologetic about what they want and deserve will change the world. There are no more difficult women hereโ€”only truthful women stepping into their light.

Your voice matters, your boundaries matter, and your vision matters. When we stop accepting what no longer serves us, we create the space to build something extraordinary.

What is one thing on your list that will no longer do? Take out your piece of paper today, draw your lines in the sand, and let us step into this incredible new chapter together.
